Just days ago I watched my children falling in love with
a beautiful old tree and took those pictures of
their beaming faces as they played under its branches...

Friday morning, after a storm, we walked out our front door and saw this...

I wanted to weep.
Aw, sad. :(
ReplyDeleteOh, that's heartbreaking. Makes you want to get a huge roll of duct tape and see what you can do....
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that makes me so sad. But I love Katy's comment - duct tape, baby :)
ReplyDeletethe first image is so majestic! I love it. After seeing avatar I have a whole new love for trees... i always love a gentle reminder how connected we all our.
ReplyDeleteWhat a huge loss! Am sure you'll find lots of 'teaching moments' as you remember the climbing tree with your little flock! luv d
