So this is me loosening up, whether I want to or not. I'm realizing more and more in these crazy days that it's ok to just let go of the filing and folding and grab onto something that may not be waiting for me tomorrow...like a little boy and a book, or a little girl and her garden gloves, or a sweet bundle of smiling baby.
Yesterday I saw the strawberry sign out -ripe for picking! I guess the piles will have to wait another day, maybe more, and I am just fine with that.

Kelli,
ReplyDeleteI just love you -- you're so real.
You are human, and that is what I love about you.
ReplyDeleteLove it!! :)
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed your use of alliteration in the next-to-last sentence... hehe
...I should take a picture of our office, just to give you some encouragement. :) have fun strawberry picking!
ReplyDeleteIt always makes me smile a little to know I'm not the only one whose house isn't spotless. Thanks for keeping it real :)
ReplyDeleteThose clothes can be picked up when the kids are grown. Believe me, you'll have plenty time then and you'll have the memories of their happiness as children and how much you enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteI love you, Kelli,
Way to go! I like your priorities!...I am now on my third day, trying to do one load of laundry...first put them in the washer on Monday -- forgot them yesterday --- got them in the dryer last night and forgot them -- will now have to dry them again to get the wrinkles out!...and I don't even have a little one to read for!! love d
